Jerry Lee Hite

Jerry Lee Hite was born August 10, 1948 in Fort Wayne, IN the son of the late Elmer Gayle and Ruby Mae Winkler Hite. He was united in marriage to Donna Lofton on September 23, 1967.He was a retired Truck Driver and was a supervisor for Gomma/Dana Industry. Mr. Hite departed this life on November 5, 2021 in Waynesboro, TN at the age of 73 years, 2 months, and 26 days.

He is survived by his wife Donna (Lofton) Hite of Waynesboro, TN; two sons, Keith Hite and wife Stephanie of Waynesboro, TN, Jerry Hite and wife Joanna of Columbia City, IN; two daughters, Kerry Hite of Waynesboro, TN, Laura Burnworth and husband Drew of Columbia City, IN; two sisters, Velma Kramer of Huntington, IN, Sally Hetrick of Angola, IN; 15 greandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Waynesboro, TN. At the request of the family, following the visitation Mr. Hite will be cremated with no services. Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family.
