Jerry Wayne Tilley

Jerry Wayne Tilley of Lutts, TN was born September 22, 1956 in Hohenwald, TN, the son of the late Leslie and Hazel Martin Tilley. He retired from NAFCO, having worked there for forty years.

Mr. Tilley departed this life on Monday, February 15, 2021 at North Alabama Medical Center in Florence, Alabama at the age of 64 Years, 4 Months, 24 Days.

He is survived by daughters, Kristi Tilley Tingle and Jennifer Tilley Marks and husband, Eric all of Cypress Inn, TN; grandchildren, Justin, Jacey and Jackson Tingle and Krista, Kara and Kailey Marks; special sons, Scotty Skaggs and children, Leah and Harley Skaggs and Skyler Skaggs and son, Daniel Skaggs; a special uncle, Georgie Martin of Lutts, TN; brothers, James Tilley and wife, Jannie of Collinwood, TN and Jimmy Tilley and wife, Linda of Florence. AL and nieces and nephews. Mr. Tilley loved his dog, Buddy.

Graveside services will be Sunday, February 21, 2021 at 4:00 pm at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Lutts, Tennessee with Nolan Burns officiating. Shackelford Funeral Directors is assisting the family.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 21, 2021 from 2:30 p.m. until 3:30 pm at Shackelford Funeral Directors, Collinwood, TN.

Pallbearers will be Justin Tingle, Jackson Tingle, Jimmy Tilley, James Tilley, Scotty Skaggs and Skyler Skaggs with Michael Smorse as an honorary pallbearer.
