    Jimmy Ray Street

    May 25, 1956 - April 27, 2022

Mr. Street passed away Wednesday night at his home near Middleton. He was born in Lauderdale County, TN, the son of the late James Elmer Street and Frances Brown Ray, who survives. Mr. Street lived Munford and worked in Millington for over 20 years before moving to Hardeman County in 2018. He enjoyed western movies, especially John Wayne, gardening, fishing, hunting and eating hot peppers. As a youth, he was a fan of wrestling and scary movies. Later, he spent many hours reading his Bible and watching televangelist, David Jeremiah. He leaves a daughter, Connie Denise Street of Ripley, TN; his mother, Frances Ray of Middleton; his sister, Judy (Garry) King of Halls, TN; three grandchildren, Patrick McAlister, Sarah Stowers and Alyssa Stowers; and a step-grandchild, Melonie Cockrell. In addition to his father, Mr. Street was preceded in death by his brother, Roger Dale Townsend. Memorials may be sent to LeBonheur Children's Hospital, Memphis, TN. http://www.lebonheur.org
