Jimmy Rickman was born May 5, 1943 in McNairy County, TN the son of the late William Warren Rickman and Millie M. Preston Rickman.
Mr. Rickman's childlike spirit brought out laughter and joy in those around him. He loved animals, joking, making people laugh, and riding around with his nieces.
Mr. Rickman departed this life on April 17, 2020 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 76 Years, 11 Months, 12 Days. He is survived by a sister, Jennie Edwards of Selmer, TN; nieces, Stacey Grissom and Tammy Edwards Mayor; nephew, William Edwards and wife Amanda; 5 great nieces and nephews; 5 great great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Rickman was preceded in death by an infant brother, William Warren Rickman Jr.
IN RESPONSE TO CURRENT EXECUTIVE ORDERS PROHIBITING PERSONS IN TENNESSEE FROM ATTENDING SOCIAL GATHERINGS CONSISTING OF 10 OR MORE PEOPLE, THERE WILL BE NO PUBLIC VISITATIONS OR SERVICES ANNOUNCED, UNLESS CIRCUMSTANCES PERMIT, UNTIL THE ORDERS EXPIRE. WE WILL CONTINUE TO ANNOUNCE DEATHS IN OUR COMMUNITY.
WE APPRECIATE YOUR COOPERATION AND APOLOGIZE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE.
