Jimmy James (Jimbo) Rippy

JIMMY JAMES (JIMBO) RIPPY

was born in Benton County, Tennessee on March 29, 1928 the son of the late John Wesley and Lillie Bell Conder Rippy.

Jimmy was self employed in logging.

He departed this life on December 21, 2019 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 91 years, 8 months and 22 days.

Jimmy is survived by his children, Dorothy DeShazier, Doris Plunk, Betty Tarkington, Linda Eliff and Billy Rippy, all of Savannah, Tennessee; 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, the was preceded in death by one son, Gary Rippy, one grandchild, Cory Lynn Lockard, several brothers and sisters and the mother of his children, Mary Lois Rippy.
