Jimmy Shearin

November 14, 1955 — October 21, 2020

Jimmy Shearin, 64, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

A native and life-long resident of Hardeman County, he was the son of the late Parnell Harden Shearin and Gladys Pearl Turner Shearin. He is also preceded in death by two brothers, Stevie and Jay Shearin.

He leaves his sister, Faye Shearin of Bolivar; and many friends and fellow residents with Madison-Haywood Developmental Services.

While visiting or attending services for Mr. Shearin, please consider the following guidelines:

* Maintain 6 feet between yourself and the next closest person;
* Refrain from hugs and handshakes;
* When you sneeze or cough, use your elbow to cover your nose and mouth;
* Wash your hands often;
* Avoid touching your face; and
* Minimize time spent in places where people gather.
