JO MARIE HOLMES
Adamsville, TN: Jo Marie Holmes age 84, passed away November 20, 2021 at the Adamsville Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born August 30, 1937, in Rocky Knob at home, the daughter of the late William Hillard and Eurah Mae Nash Keen. She grew up in Enville and graduated from Chester County High School. She married William Royce Holmes in January of 1959.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Christian Assembly United Pentecostal Church in Adamsville. She loved to garden and keep potted plants. She loved her family above all else.
Mrs. Holmes is survived by two sons, Michael Holmes and wife Kimberly of Enville and Phillip Ray Holmes of Jackson; three grandchildren, Tabatha Holmes, Jessica Holmes and William Holmes and a brother Danny Keen and wife Janice of Enville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, William Royce Holmes, Jr and a brother, Jerry Keen.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue with Pastor Phillip Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Rocky Knob Cemetery at Finger, TN.
The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday.
