Jo Nell Rinks Barnes

Jo Nell Rinks Barnes departed this life on Tuesday, March 24, 2020, at the age of 83 years, 4 months, and 27 days. She was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on October 26, 1936, the daughter of the late Ralph and Violet Louise Brewer Rinks. On December 26, 1952, she was united in marriage to Charles Curtis Barnes, who preceded her in death on October 8, 1968Jo Nell was a waitress for Hagy's Catfish Hotel for 26 years, River Heights for 15 years, and for Ed Shaw for many years. She also worked for various sewing factories including Garan Manufacturing in Adamsville, Tennessee. She loved her family, playing cards and games, and being around people. Jo Nell never met a stranger and was dearly loved by everyone who knew her. She was a member of Carmel Heights Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Barnes Graham and her husband Tom of Savannah, Tennessee; son, Charles Lynn (Charlie) Barnes and his wife Patricia of Sa.

vannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Bobby Webb and his wife Jill, Hayden Graham Isbell and her husband Randy, and Haylee Graham Plunk and her husband Will; step grandchildren, Alan Thompson, Greta Austin and her husband Benny, and Brad Thompson and his wife Nicoal; great grandchildren, Bailey Webb and his fiancee Brie Pipes, Delaney Webb, Mabrey Webb, Jaxton Gibson, Jessi Kate Eaves, and Graham Plunk; step great grandchildren, Sarah Edwards, Emily Edwards, McKinley Thompson, Myles Thompson, Ashley Binetsky and her husband Serge, and Garrick Smith and his wife Sara; step great great grandchild, Willa Smith; a great great grandson due in May, Baylor Webb; and special nieces, Cathy Vickery and Tammy Neill.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Jo Nell was preceded in death by a great granddaughter, Kydalynn Graham; sister, Dorothy Rinks Gean; and brother, Norman Rinks.
