JO G PICKENS
was born in Savannah, Tennessee on October 3, 1925 the daughter of the late Albert and Josephine Gertrude Jerrolds Gray.
On January 21, 1944 she was united in marriage to Elvin Jake Pickens, who preceded his wife in death on February 5, 1991.
Jo was a former resident of Joliet, Illinois, Doniphan, Missouri and Corinth, Mississippi. She was a homemaker and loved hummingbirds.
Jo departed this life on Sunday, July 12, 2020 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 94 years, 9 months and 9 days.
She is survived by her children, Elvin Wayne Pickens of Ellwood, Illinois and Billy David Pickens of Savannah, Tennessee; six grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Ronnie Jo Pickens, brother, Jamie Gray, and sister, Wilma Gray.
