Joan Brandt Desimone

Joan Brandt Desimone was born March 28, 1952 in New York the daughter of the late Jack and Harriet Ficarra.
For over 20 years, she worked at Health Center at Brentwood in Lecanto, FL. A nurturer by nature, she loved working and caring for all the residents. She touched the lives of so many people both young and old. She was a well loved mother, who helped raise three generations of her family.
She was a collector of cherubs, a lover of bingo, active in her crocheting and word find puzzles. She was known by her family for her one and only best dish, chicken cacciatore.
Miss Desimone departed this life on August 8, 2022 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 70 Years, 4 Months, 11 Days. She is survived by a son, Jason Desimone of Bethel Springs, TN; a daughter, Joni Lynn Desimone of Florida; two sisters, Linda Dicarlo, Cathy (Ficarra) Walker; a brother, Billy Brandt; 6 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Miss Desimone was preceded in death by a brother, Jackie Ficarra.
A private Celebration of Life will be held at later date.
