JoAnne Eubanks was born August 10, 1939 to the late Elmer and Edna Carter in Athens, Alabama. She passed from this life on Wednesday, June 27, 2018.
She attended Mars Hill Bible School in Florence, Alabama and graduated with a group of beloved friends in 1957. She loved to laugh and her sense of humor is what many people remember. She was well-known for her encouragement especially in the form of a hand written note in the mail.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Dan Eubanks; her daughter Dana along with her husband and son George and Brendan Welty; her daughter Anna along with her husband and children, Brad, Grace, Austin and Marian Barber.
She is preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Edna Carter and her sister Shirley LeMay.
