Joe Earl Coady

Joe Earl Coady, born June 30, 1935, passed on to be with the Lord on Sept. 3, 2017 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital after a brief hospitalization. He was 82 years of age.
Mr. Coady was born and raised at Jacks Creek, TN and has lived there his entire life. He was the son of Guy and Lela Ross Coady, and was joined in matrimony to Marie Moore Coady on October 4, 1961. He owned Coady and Sons Construction Company for many years, and was an active member of Unity Baptist Church in Jacks Creek. He enjoyed aviation and computer technology, and spent most of his free time as the biggest supporter of any activities including his family.
Mr. Coady was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Lela Coady, and a brother, Bobby Lee Coady. Survivors include his wife, Marie Moore Coady; a brother, Guy Neal (Jean) Coady of Eads, TN: a sister, Janice (Danny) Goodwin of Jacks Creek, two sons, Don Coady of Martin, TN, and Mark Coady of Brentwood, TN; a daughter, Beth Coady Nash (Mike) of Jacks Creek, TN; a granddaughter, Megan Wadley and fiancé Chris; a grandson Caleb Wadley; and two great-grandchildren, Coady and Elora.
A memorial celebration of life will be held at Unity Baptist Church in Jacks Creek, TN on Wednesday, September 13, at 6:00 PM with Dr. James Huggins officiating. A meal for all friends and family will be provided after the service, lovingly prepared by the church family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Unity Baptist Church Building Fund, 2475 State Route 22A, Jacks Creek, TN 38347.
