Joe Gabbard departed this life on Saturday, July 18, 2020, at the age of 68 years, 8 months, and 26 days. He was born in Batesville, Indiana on October 22, 1951, the son of the late Jack and Edwina Johnson Gabbard. On November 20, 1977, he was united in marriage to Christine Latzo, who survives.
Joe was a firefighter with the Palm Beach County Fire and Rescue Department. He loved being on his farm. Joe was a good father and grandfather, he was a simple man, a great man.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Christine Gabbard of Savannah, Tennessee; children, Kyle Gabbard of Vero Beach, Florida, Kason Gabbard of Bradenton, Florida, and Katie-Jo Cowgell of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Addison, Avery, Blake, Brylee-Jo, Paisley, Lyla, and Kason, Jr.; a sister; and a brother.
