Joe Eldridge Pinson

Joe Eldridge Pinson was born on April 6, 1938 in Florence, Alabama, the son of the late Frank Eldridge and Nellie Etta Tanner Pinson.

He was united in marriage to Carolyn Harville, who survives.

Mr. Pinson honorably served his country in the United States Army National Guard for 22 years. He retired from Aqua Glass in Adamsville, Tennessee.

Joe Eldridge Pinson departed this life on September 9, 2021 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 83 years, 5 months, and 3 days.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Pinson of Savannah, Tennessee; sons, Joey Pinson and his wife Heather of Crump, Tennessee, Robert Pinson of Corinth, Mississippi, and Steven "Barney" Barnes and his wife Brandy of Savannah, Tennessee; daughters, Tina Plunkett and her husband Tom of Savannah, Tennessee and Pam Shouse and her husband Ted of Corinth, Mississippi; grandchildren, Danny Joe Pinson, Samantha Bonds, David Pinson, Timothy Pierce, Jonathan Lambert, John Horner, Cameron Prater, Cody Surratt, Brandon Beckham, Benjamin Pinson, Austin Horner, Steven Barnes, Elijah Pinson, Makayla Barnes, Madison Beckham, and Alayna Evans; and great grandchildren, Hailie Pinson, Destiny Bonds, Brooklyn Bonds, Caleb Pinson, Katie Beth Pinson, Carter Suratt, and Braxton Beckham.

In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his daughter, Heather Davis; sisters, Bessie M. Austin, Frances Hill, Catherine Paulk, and Carrie Hughes; and brothers, James Pinson and Sammie Pinson.
