Joe L. Wyatt departed this life on Friday, September 13, 2019, at the age of 79 years, 11 months, and 19 days. He was born in Decatur County, Tennessee on September 25, 1939, the son of the late Rob and Velma Mayo Wyatt. On January 5, 1963, he was united in marriage to Joyce Martin, who survives.

Joe served honorably in the United States Army and was a member of the VFW, the Masonic Lodge and a Shriner. He retired from Air Products and Chemical Company in New Orleans, Louisiana after 35 years with the company. Joe was an avid turkey hunter, enjoyed fishing, and liked to work outside and bush hogging.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Joyce Wyatt of Picayune, Mississippi; daughter, Tina Singleton of Beech Bluff, Tennessee; grandchild, Taylor Singleton; brothers, Roy Wyatt of Parsons, Tennessee and Jerry Wyatt of Hernando, Mississippi; sister, Cathy McPherson of Bartlett, Tennessee; and seven nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Marlene Pipes and two nephews.
