Enville, TN: Johnnie Ann Montgomery Bryant Cummings age 82 passed away October 31, 2018 at her home.
She was born June 24, 1936 in McNairy County, the daughter of the late John Thomas and Odie Moore Montgomery. She went to school at Bethel Springs.
She was Director of the Weatherization Program with Southwest Human Resource Agency serving eight West Tennessee Counties. She married H.C. Cummings and they made their home in the Cabo Community for over thirty years.
She enjoyed working in the yard and flowers and was an awesome cook. She had worked at the International Truck & Tractor in Henderson, as a cook at the Skylark, and at Gene’s Body Shop before working for SWHRA. She was Baptist in faith.
Mrs. Cummings is survived by her husband, H.C. Cummings of Enville; a stepson, Chris Cummings of Pinson and a stepdaughter, Mitzi Hatch of Silerton; four grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; a sister, Omilee McIntyre of Bethel Springs.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, John Thomas Montgomery.
Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Saturday at Chester County Memory Gardens, with Bro. Dwight Jones officiating.
