Mr. Joseph Oscar "Joe" Clark, age 83 of Bolivar, Tennessee, passed from this life Wednesday morning, July 31, 2019 at Summerford Nursing Home in Hartselle, Alabama.
Mr Clark was born in Bedford, Pennsylvania on Friday, February 21, 1936 to the late Duchesne Pomeroy Clark and Martha Gertrude Hamilton Clark. He served in the National Guard and was an engineer for Harmon Automotive. He was a Deacon at Parrans Chapel Baptist Church and taught Sunday School there for 35 years. He was a member of the Bolivar Masonic Lodge #608, coached little league baseball for numerous years, and was a member of the Hardeman County Jaycees. He was also an avid golfer and bowler.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Clark of Bolivar; sons, Patrick Clark of Memphis and Richard Clark (Kathy) of Bolivar; daughters, Debi Bickmore (Dan) of Las Vegas, NV, and Rhonda Russell (Shane) of Hartselle, AL; brother, Duchesne Pomeroy Clark, Jr. of Parkville, MD; sisters, Kay Hamilton Barnes of Camden, and Jane Walker of Ft. Smith, AR; four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
