Joyce Sowell

Joyce Sowell was born May 21, 1934 in Tyronza, AR the daughter of the late William T. and Verlie Lee Evans Rickman.

Miss Sowell worked at Garan and Harwood Manufacturing as a seamstress and was a sitter for 20 years. She was a member of the West Shiloh Baptist Church in Stantonville, Tennessee. She loved decorating, working in her flowers, and spending time with her family.

Miss Sowell departed this life on November 16, 2014 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 80 Years, 5 Months, 26 Days. She is survived by a daughter, Phyllis Hysmith and husband Ted of Bethel Springs, TN; a son, Michael Sowell of Selmer, TN; a sister, Drunette Garrison and husband O'Neal of Stantonville, TN; a brother, Kenneth Neal Rickman and wife Brenda of Stantonville, TN; 5 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandchild; and a host of extended family and friends.
