Juanice Mae Lott was born August 19, 1934 in Henderson, TN the daughter of the late James Herman and Ruth J. Pusser Browder. She was raised by parents who lived through and survived the Great Depression. The Browder's raised their children to understand the importance of faith and family.
She was united in marriage to Rayburn Ward Lott on December 20, 1952. Mr. Lott preceded her in death on November 8, 2019. Throughout the 66 years of their marriage, they lived in Ypsilanti, MI, Granville, Lebanon and Spring Hill, TN.
Mrs. Lott was a member of Ypsilanti Assembly of God in Ypsilanti, MI and Carthage Church of God in Carthage, TN. With hearts of servants, she along with her husband enjoyed being involved in both their churches. Mr. Lott served on the Elder board at both churches and together they supported missionaries both financially and prayerfully. She was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling with her husband, and known to her family as a great cook.
Family was important to Mrs. Lott and her relationship with her siblings was close. They vacationed together, attended Gospel Quartet singing conventions, and gathered three and four times a year for visits.
Mrs. Lott departed this life on April 2, 2022 in Nashville, TN at the age of 87 Years, 7 Months, 14 Days. She is survived by a daughter, Belinda Perry of Franklin, TN; a son, Kelvin Lott and wife Tammy of Lake Orion, MI; three sisters, Carolyn Simpson, Betty Thompson, Jimmie Dick; a brother, Michael Browder; eight grandchildren, Shaun Perry, Kristen Perry, Nathan Lott and wife Whitney, Cameron Kester and wife Andrea, Staci Schober and husband Dylan, Seth Kester and wife Sarah, Kirstin Zeleney and husband Adam, and Marissa Kester; 16 great grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
