Services for Judy B. McKeown are 12 Noon, Monday, December 27, 2021 at Quail Ridge Church of Christ, 6364 Egypt Central Road, Bartlett, TN 38135. Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial is 2:30 pm, Monday, at Roger Springs Cemetery, 335 Old Roger Springs Road, Middleton, TN 38052.

Mrs. McKeown, age 73, of Arlington, departed this life on Wednesday afternoon, December 22, 2021 at St. Frances Hospital of Bartlett.

She was born in Corinth, MS on Sunday, November 28, 1948 to the late Martin "Jethro" Berry and Dora Sanders Berry and lived in the Acton community of McNairy County until 1966. Most of her life was lived in Shelby County, first, in Bartlett from 1978-1998; and in Arlington for the past 23 years. On Saturday, April 3, 1971, she was united in marriage to Mr. Lynn McKeown, whom she met while living and working in Jackson, TN. In recent years, Mrs. McKeown was primarily a homemaker but, previously had worked as a church and legal secretary.

Judy lived her faith and walked with the Lord in life, just as she will for eternity. She was a loving wife, devoted mother and proud Nana. A long time member of Quail Ridge church of Christ, she was a Ladies' Bible Class teacher, member of several worship groups, active in providing food for the hungry and worked with the church's program for those battling addictions. A breast cancer survivor since 2017, she was known to many for her kindness to others.

In her leisure time, she enjoyed following all the activities of her "pride and joy", her six grandchildren. She loved going to family reunions and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Other favorite pastimes included quilting, baking, writing in her many journals, gardening and tending to her flowers especially roses.

She leaves her husband of 50 years, Lynn McKeown of Arlington; her son, Jason McKeown and wife, Tiffany, of Birmingham, AL; her daughter, Jill Evans and husband, Charlie, of Murfreesboro; her sister, Joyce Greer and husband, Don, of Michie, TN; her brother, Jeff Berry and husband, Bruce, of Houston, TX; and six grandchildren, Ben Evans, Adelaide McKeown, Olivia Evans, Lucy McKeown, Julie McKeown and Maebry McKeown.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Enoch Evans.
