Judy Whitley McMahan was born February 4, 1947 in McNairy County, TN the daughter of the late Jake P. and Eather Dee Wardlow Whitley.
She was united in marriage to Jamie McMahan. Mr. McMahan preceded her in death on March 21, 2003.
Mrs. McMahan was a member of the Landmark United Pentecostal Church in Stantonville, Tennessee. She retired from Kimberly Clark in Corinth, MS. She was a wonderful cook always cooking for her family and community. She was known for her dressing and "famous taters." She enjoyed peanut butter and banana sandwiches, diet mountain dew and coffee. She always had a beautiful vegetable garden, liked working puzzle books, and loved going deer hunting.
Mrs. McMahan loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved taking care of her entire family.
Mrs. McMahan departed this life on May 13, 2020 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 73 Years, 3 Months, 9 Days. She is survived by two sons, Phillip McMahan of Hornsby, TN, Gary "Gert" McMahan of Selmer, TN; a sister, Sabra Wilbanks; two brothers, Harold Whitley and wife Alice, Deedy Whitley and wife Mitzi; five grandchildren, Hannah Chambers, Kayla (McMahan) Davis and husband John Thomas, Destiny (Fred) Edwards, Meghan Pigg, Danielle Pigg; six great grandchildren, Kendall "Sweet Pea" Doyle, Ethan "Little Jack" Doyle, Layken Petty, Madasyn Banks, Jordyn Doyle, Bryleigh Doyle; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. McMahan was preceded in death by a sister, Eather Pearl Jordan; three brothers, Matthew (Bo) Whitley, William Ross Whitley, Marvin Whitley.
