Judye McAlpin

Judye McAlpin, age 69 of Middleton, passed away at her home on Monday morning, December 2, 2019. Funeral services were held at 1 PM Wednesday, December 4, 2019, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Middleton. Visitation was held Tuesday evening, December 3, 2019, from 5 to 9 PM, and Wednesday before the funeral, starting at 11 AM. Burial followed the service at Hebron Cemetery.

Judye Lynn McAlpin was born Thursday, April 6, 1950, to the late Q.T. Jackson and Elorene McKinnie Jackson in Bolivar, Tennessee. She was married to William Clyde McAlpin, who passed away on October 3, 2005. She retired from Western State Mental Health after thirty plus years as a housekeeper. She was a lifelong member of Hebron Baptist Church. Judye loved her family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and she enjoyed collecting dolls. She lived all of her life in Hardeman County.

She is survived by a son, Todd McAlpin(Paula) of Middleton; four sisters, Dorothy Vickers of Middleton, TN, Sarah McCord of South Carolina, Martha Alice Moore(David) of Nashville, TN, and Frankie Webb of Middleton, TN; a a daughter-in-law, Becky McAlpin; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by three brothers, Hugh T. Jackson, John Jackson, and Parnell Jackson; and a son, Junior McAlpin.
