Julius M. "Doc" Cherry

Julius M. "Doc" Cherry was born on December 13, 1954 in Savannah, Tennessee, the son of the late Cleophas Lorenza and Mary Myrtle McDaniel Cherry.
Julius worked as a cook at Jack's and was a former boxer and basketball player. He was a member of St. John's Missionary Baptist Church in Savannah, Tennessee and the Masonic Lodge in Paris, Tennessee.
Julius M. "Doc" Cherry departed this life on January 23, 2022 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 67 years, 1 month, and 10 days.
He is survived by his daughter, Dagen Cherry of Nashville, Tennessee and brothers, Victor Cherry and his wife Wanda and Robert Lee Cherry, all of Savannah, Tennessee. His first grandchild, due in June of 2022, also survives him.
In addition to his parents, Julius was preceded in death by his siblings, Katie Bell and Stevie Cherry.
