June Bowers
was born in Steele, Missouri on June 3, 1941 the daughter of the late Barney and Hettie Elizabeth Woods Robinson.
On May 20, 1961 she was united in marriage to Wayne G. Bowers, Sr. who preceded his wife in death on August 17, 2011.
June worked for around 7 years in home health care. She was a member of Eastern Star and East End United Methodist Church. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting, knitting, cooking and doing all types of different craft work.
June departed this life on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 79 years, 11 months and 2 days.
She is survived by her children, Wayne Gilbert Bowers, Jr. and his wife Debra of Lewisburg, Tennessee, and Gayla Mangus and her husband John of Tonawanda, New York; grandchildren, Jeff Bishop and Ronica Perry; and six great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one grandchild, Chad Fox, and two brothers, Joe and Carroll Robinson.
