June Kennedy Killingsworth
was born in Houston County, Alabama on June 10, 1938 the daughter of the late General Pershing (G.P.) and Zadie Brannon Kennedy.
On June 15, 1956 she was united in marriage Preston Dupont Killingsworth, who preceded his wife in death on June 5, 2015.
June retired from Fieldcrest Mill in Columbus, Georgia where she worked as a trimmer. She lived in Savannah for the last 6 years and was a member of Mt. Zion Church of Christ. June loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She departed this life on Friday, October 15, 2021 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 83 years, 4 months and 5 days.
June is survived by her children, Cindy Harmon and her husband Don of Savannah, Tennessee and Rodney Killingsworth of Columbus, Georgia; grandchildren, Seriah Harmon and Seth Harmon, both of Savannah, Tennessee, and Ryan Killingsworth of Columbus, Georgia; great grandchildren, Emily Harmon of Savannah, Tennessee and Chandler Harmon of South Fulton, Tennessee; brother, Jimmy Kennedy of Piedmont, Alabama; sisters, Joyce Lancaster and her husband Bill of Miami, Florida, and Shirley Starnes and her husband Lyle of Deckard, Tennessee.
