Karen McBride Channell

Karen McBride Channell was born March 10, 1959 in Fort Campbell, KY, the daughter of the late Victor Glenn and Junelle Johnson McBride.

Karen was a retired special needs teacher. As a cheer mom, Karen was very active in her daughter Andrea's life. She loved her family and she will be greatly missed.

Miss Channell departed this life on January 20, 2014 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 54 Years, 10 Months, 10 Days.

She is survived by a daughter, Andrea Leigh Channell of Selmer, TN and Andrea's father, James Channell; two sisters, Kathryn Fitzmaurice and husband Dan of Glen Burnie, MD, Kirsten Tudman and husband Dave of Oneida, NY; her aunts, Alice Thrasher of Selmer, TN and Anita McBride of Jackson, TN; her uncle, Raymond Johnson of Little Rock, AR; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, Miss Channell was preceded in death by an uncle, Houston Thrasher.
