Kathleen G. Austin

Kathleen G. Austin was born August 7, 1944 in Bethel Springs, TN, the daughter of the late John Dewey and Cora Archer Gee. She departed this life on December 24, 2018 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 74 Years, 4 Months, 17 Days.

She worked in the Textile Industry most of her life and took care of her family. She attended Refuge Church of Christ when she was able. Kathleen's family came first in her life and she loved them all deeply. With a kind heart, no matter how she felt, Kathleen was always thinking of someone else. Her family will miss her dearly.

She is survived by her children: Greg Weaver and wife Laurie of Jackson, TN, Richie Weaver and companion Shelley Sexton of Ramer, TN, Tony Weaver and wife Kim of Chipley, FL, Ganevia Dickey and husband Anthony of Ramer, TN; four sisters: Nell Shelton of Bethel Springs, TN, Linda Price of Bethel Springs, TN, Judy Moore of Bethel Springs, TN, Ermadean Clayton of Henderson, TN; a brother, Frank Gee of Coldwater, MS; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Austin was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Steward; three sisters: Shirley Maness, Phyllis Clayton, Wanda Plunk; two brothers, Billy and Wendell Gee.
