She could do anything she set her mind to; after watching "The Joy of Painting" with Bob Ross she took up painting and discovered a natural ability. She was also an accomplished seamstress. Katy was instrumental in the success of the Freed-Hardeman Associates, contributing many baked goods and crafts for their fundraising efforts, and was a faithful member of the Fourth Street church of Christ in Selmer. She demonstrated a genuine love for people and was a friend to everyone she met. Katy departed this life on February 22, 2022 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 78 Years, 9 Months, 28 Days. She is survived by two sons, Jay Redmon and Kevin Redmon and wife Susan, all of Stantonville, TN; six grandchildren: Dillon Redmon, Katlin Redmon, Macy Redmon, Olivia Bolton, Landon Bolton, and Kathryn Bolton; two sisters, Patsy Stephens of Selmer, TN and Peggy Richardson of Savannah, TN; a nephew, Adam Hicks of Selmer, TN; and many extended family and friends.
