Kay McClain Nix

Kay McClain Nix was born December 25, 1945 in Selmer, Tennessee the daughter of the late Lena James McClain.

She was united in marriage to Donald Ray Nix. Mr. Nix preceded her in death on February 23, 2007.

Mrs. Nix retired from Kimberly-Clark in Corinth, MS and was a member of Pleasant Site Baptist Church. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Mrs. Nix departed this life on October 15, 2020 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 74 Years, 9 Months, 20 Days. She is survived by a sister, Janet Ferrell of Selmer, TN; a brother, Larry McClain and wife Ann of Columbia, TN; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Nix was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Don Nix; a sister, Christine Sewell; seven brothers, Wendel, Jimmy, Maury, Philip, David, Ronald, and Ricky McClain.
