Keith M Emmons was born May 2, 1949 in Coriinth, Mississippi the son of the late Marshall and Alice May Knight Emmons.
Mr. Emmons worked as an engraver for World Color Printer in Corinth, MS for 27 years. He loved his Lord, Jesus Christ and taught the Senior Men Sunday School Class for 22 years. He was a member of Gravel Hill Baptist church.
He played different instruments for 56 years and was self-taught. He played the guitar for 40 years, banjo for the last ten years along with the bass. He had a great love for Bluegrass music and played all over.
Mr. Emmons departed this life on August 22, 2020 in Michie, Tennessee at the age of 71 Years, 3 Months, 20 Days. He is survived by a daughter, Lacy Elain Smith and husband Jason of Michie, TN; three grandchildren, Chloe Elayne, Max, and Will Strickland; two sisters, Inus Elain Sanders of Corinth, MS, Barbara Sue Sanders of Michie, TN; and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Emmons was preceded in death by two brothers, Willie Frank (Billy) Emmons, Stanley Emmons.
Mr. Emmon's verse for the closing of his life was 2 Timothy 4:7-8
"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing."
