Mr. Pocock passed away Wednesday evening, November 13, 2019, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
The son of the late Claude and Christina Gilbert Pocock, he was born in Bellevue, OH and lived there for 26 years. Mr. Pocock was employed as a machinist for SFI in Memphis for 15 years and had lived in Toone for the past few months. He was married on March 21, 1970 to Beverly Smith Pocock, who survives.
In his leisure time, he enjoyed building and working on automobiles and woodworking. He enjoyed all kinds of sports including NASCAR, Funny Cars and Cleveland Browns football.
In addition to his wife of 49 years, he leaves two daughters, Serenity (Jason) Rupp of Ontario, OH and Elizabeth (Larry) Burns of Toone; one son, Larry Joseph (Angela) Pocock of Crestview, FL; two sisters, Christine Davidson and Loretta Minnach; eight brothers, Glen, Allen, Gary, Ronnie, Rolland, Kenny, Keith and Rick Pocock; and seven grandchildren, Nicholas, Tyson and Jackson Rupp, Robert Jennings, Robbyn, Justin and Amber Pocock.
