Laurine Roach

Thelma Laurine Roach was born October 9, 1948 in Comanche, TX, the daughter of the late Lacy Atwell Ward and Thelma Faye Chancellor Ward. She departed this life on August 22, 2022 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 73 Years, 10 Months, 13 Days.

Laurine loved taking care of her family. Her greatest pleasure in life were her grandkids. She enjoyed traveling, living in Europe for a short time, puzzles, sewing and cooking. She was famous for making Ice Cream Sundaes and making her family feel loved.

She is survived by her children: Michelle Morris and husband Kyle of Selmer, TN and Len Phegley and wife Amber of Bethel Springs, TN; three grandchildren: Lauren Kiley, Leonard and Abigail Phegley; four siblings: Lacy Ward and wife Judy, Robert Ward, Gary Ward and wife Jill, Martha Yount and husband Randy all of TX; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Roach was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Delano Roach; father of her children: Leonard Frank Phegley; grandson, Jayd Bivens; and a sister-in-law, Lisa Ward.
