LeaRose Evans, 76, of Marion, Arkansas, departed this life Thursday evening, August 30, 2018 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis.
The wife of David L. Evans, who survives, she was a homemaker, previously working for a while at Euclid Spiral Paper Tube Company in Cleveland, Ohio when her children were young. She was born January 7, 1942, in Friedens, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Kenneth and Freda Biggs Edmonson and moved to Ohio as a young adult. In 1976, she relocated with her husband and children to Bolivar, living here for 12 years before moving to Marion, Arkansas where she lived the remainder of her life and worked some as a substitute teacher. She enjoyed reading and would babysit for everyone.
In addition to her husband, whom she married on November 9, 1968, survivors include a daughter, Kimberly Goodman (Phil) of Bolivar; two sons, Norberto Gabriel (Renee) of Jackson and Joshua Evans of Marion, AR; a sister, Gloria Edmonson of Wooster, OH; two grandchildren, Brandon Goodman of Saulsbury and Candace Collins (Craig) of Foley, AL; two great grandchildren, Gage Collins of Foley, AL and Mattox Goodman of Bolivar and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers, Jim, Bob, Jack and Kenny Edmonson; and 3 sisters, Donna Berkebile, Edith Wright and Beverly Maciaszek.
