Lee Dan Mullins was born on January 13, 1958 in Savannah, TN.
He departed this life on April 11, 2021 in Cincinnati, Ohio due to Covid.
Mr. Mullins worked in sales at Jeff Wyler Nissan in Cincinnati, Ohio for many years. Lee Dan Mullins, Class of 1976, has passed away from COVID. Lee Dan played football for four years for the Bobcats. He earned a certificate for Mechanical Drafting in 1981 from Crump Vo-Tech. Lee Dan has one son, Bryce Richie. He began a radio broadcasting career at age 14 and has worked at many stations, plus was a co-host of John Fox’s “Outdoor Adventures” on a Florence TV station. He created “Local Sports with Lee Dan” a sports show on Selmer’s local cable channel. He became the “Voice of the Bobcat Football” in 1989 and broadcast MCHS football for a total of 10 years. Lee Dan has since done sports broadcasting in Alabama, Kentucky and Mississippi. He also worked in sales at Jeff Wyler Nissan in Cincinnati, Ohio for many years.
He is survived by a son, Bryce Richie and wife, Tracy of Columbia, TN; two grandchildren, Landon Richie and Connor Hall; sister, Lila Pardue and husband Paul of Corinth, MS; brother, Kenneth Mullins of Selmer, TN; and a host of nieces and nephews;
He is preceded in death by his father, Dwayne Mullins; his mother, Opal Huggins; Sister, Gail Randall; Grandparents, Bryan and Cynthia Jones and Cooper and Aslee Mullen.
