Leland Scott Pettigo
was born in Booneville, Mississippi on November 2, 1964 the son of Frances Sue Russel Pettigo and the late James Leroy Pettigo.
On May 27, 2020 he was united in marriage to Sheryl Lynn McCasland Wolfe, who survives.
Leland lived his early years in Booneville, Mississippi, and moved to Memphis, Tennessee after high school. While living in Memphis, he worked as a foreman for Memphis Light, Gas and Water Company. In his later years Leland lived in Savannah and Pickwick.
Leland was a member of The Parrot Head Club. In his spare time he loved building anything, flipping houses, his cars and spending time on Pickwick Lake.
He departed this life on Monday, July 12, 2021 in Birmingham, Alabama at the age of 56 years, 8 months and 10 days.
Leland is survived by his wife, Sheryl of Savannah, Tennessee; daughter, Breanna Pettigo Hester of Birmingham, Alabama; stepdaughters, Allison Climer of Counce, Tennessee and Jessica Johnson of Michie, Tennessee; step grandchildren, Hayden Climer and Adley Johnson; his mother, Frances Pettigo of Booneville, Mississippi; and brothers, Anthony Pettigo and Jamie Pettigo both of Booneville, Mississippi.
