LEO WEAVER
Henderson, TN: James Leo Weaver age 84 passed away Friday, February 7, 2014 at his home.
Mr. Weaver was born October 2, 1929 in Chester County, the son of the late James Elbert and Alice Martha Davidson Weaver. He attended Chester County Schools at Hickory Corner. He married Rosalyn Tull in 1950 and they made their home in Chester County most of their married life. They lived in the Old Friendship Community for thirty-six years before moving to the Trice Road area.
Mr. Weaver drove trucks for Record Truck Lines and Sonoco for several years. He had done construction work for Boyer and Johnson and had also operated his own worm ranch.
Mr. Weaver was a Primitive Baptist, a Mason and a 32nd degree Shriner.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Rosalyn Tull Weaver of Henderson; a son, Ricky James Weaver and wife Rita of Henderson; two daughters, Phyllis Diann Williams and husband Ronnie of Greeneville, TN and Carolyn Ann Thomas and husband Jackie of Henderson; six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Martha Levada Sights of Elverta, CA and Shirley Lavelle Ray of Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandchild, Kurt Williams and a brother, Lloyd Gene Weaver in 2003.
Graveside services will be 3:00 PM Saturday with Charles Whitten officiating and burial at Chester County Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
