Libby (JoJo) Richard was born June 16, 1957 in New Albany , MS the daughter of the late Hubert Fortner and Zelma Grubbs Fortner Weatherford.
Libby was the go-to event planner and party food extraordinaire. Her appetizers filled the tables at most Richard family gatherings. She loved going fishing and enjoyed painting.
Libby departed this life on May 19, 2020 in Tupelo, Mississippi at the age of 62 Years, 11 Months, 3 Days. She is survived by a son, Jay Richard and companion, Alisha Elam of Ramer, TN; a brother, Jimmy Fortner of Baldwyn, MS; four sisters, Linda King of Union City, TN, Janice Miller of Jackson, TN, Penny Hardin of Finger, TN, Sunshine Gant of Biloxi, MS; and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Libby was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Richard.
