Lochie Pevahouse Brashier departed this life on Sunday, January 13, 2019, at the age of 97 years, 3 months, and 17 days. She was born in Wayne County, Tennessee on September 27, 1921, the daughter of the late Chesley and Mary Ada Warren Pevahouse. On June 28, 1941, she was united in marriage to Charles Raymond Brashier, who preceded her in death on October 31, 2017.
Lochie had worked for Brown Shoe Company and was a flea market vendor. She was a member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church in Clifton, Tennessee.
Lochie is survived by her grandchildren, Angela Bridges Free, Robert Bridges, Barry Bridges, Lorri Cooke, Trevor Brashier, and Tina Kephart; eighteen great grandchildren; sixteen great-great grandchildren; and a brother, WC Pevahouse of Savannah, Tennessee.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Lochie was preceded in death by her children, Raymond Douglas Brashier and Wanda Lee Brashier Swope; grandchild, Damon Douglas Brashier; brothers, Forrest Pevahouse, Brown Pevahouse, and Milburn Pevahouse; and sisters, Hester Turnbo and Carrie Cleo Pevahouse.
