Lonnie (Lonzo) Prett Roland was born on April 22, 1945 in McNairy County, Tennessee, the son of the late Prett and Hassie Bell Inman Roland. Lonnie worked in construction doing drywall and sheet rock. He enjoyed woodworking and riding backroads visiting friends. Most of all, he loved his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Lonnie (Lonzo) Prett Roland departed this life on January 16, 2022 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 76 years, 8 months, and 25 days. He is survived by his son, Greg Roland and his wife Melissa of Savannah, Tennessee; daughters, Lana Roland of Iowa and Stacie Ray and her husband Todd of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Amber, Tyler, Lacie, Canaan, Gracie, April, and Alicia; and great grandchildren, Allie, Connor, Kacen, Olivia, Brentley, Elora, Kelsey, and Callie. In addition to his parents, Lonnie was preceded in death by his life partner, Dorothy Waldon; brother, Billy Joe Roland; 1 grandchild Joshua, and 7 great-grandchildren.
