Lottie Faye Taylor

Lottie Faye Taylor was born July 11, 1932 in McNairy County, TN, the daughter of the late Samuel Elby King and Flossie Mae Smith King. She was the second oldest of 16 children and a mother figure to her younger siblings.

Mrs. Taylor was united in marriage to Marion L. Taylor on September 23, 1951. Mr. Taylor preceded her in death on November 22, 1998. She was a member of the Sanctified Church of Christ in the Rose Creek Community. She worked as a custodian at the Selmer Elementary School for over 20 years. She enjoyed children in general and being a mother to all. She also enjoyed her flowers, gardening and being with family.

Mrs. Taylor departed this life on July 17, 2020 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 88 Years, 6 Days.

She is survived by her children: Donna Faye Vincent (Larry Hughes) of Pocahontas, TN, Delores Mae Jarman of Kansas City, MO, Mark Taylor (Celia) of Pocahontas, TN, Brenda Mathis McCalmon (Tommy) of Walnut, MS; seven grandchildren: Nichols J. Lehmann III (Lisa), Anthony L. Lehmann (Sharon), Jennifer E. Sandau (Shane), Joshua L. Taylor (Amanda), Jesse A. Taylor, Rachel McNatt, Benjamin Mathis (Haley); 11 Great Grandchildren; four sisters, Coy Jeter, Jo Seidler (Fred), Kathy Dye, Patricia Exum (Don); and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters.

The family requests that visitors observe social distancing guidelines and wear masks to the visitation and service.
