Louise Coats

Louise Coats of Hornsby, TN was born December 17, 1927 in McNairy County, TN the daughter of the late Jess and Lottie McCullar Dillon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Newman Coats.

Mrs. Coats was the oldest member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church. She was a hard worker having previously worked at Brown Shoe Company and later Jetrick's Corporation in Selmer. She enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune and doing dot-to-dot and find-a-word puzzles. Mrs. Coats departed this life on May 2, 2018 at the age of 90 Years, 4 Months, 15 Days.

She is survived by two daughters, Sherrill Plunk and husband Rod of Bethel Springs, TN, Brenda Horton and husband Larry of Ramer, TN; a son, Ronnie Coats and wife Debbie of Hornsby, TN; 8 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren and one on the way; a son-in-law, Mason Henry McElhenney and a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Coats was preceded in death by two daughters, Sandra Wilson and Patricia McElhenney; a brother, Jamie Dillon.
