Louise Huggins of Bethel Springs, TN

January 2, 1934 - April 27, 2022

Louise Huggins was born January 2, 1934 in Ramer, TN, the daughter of the late Edgar Marion Leatherwood and Lennie Mae Wren Leatherwood. She was the oldest of four children. She was united in marriage to R.C. Huggins on July 10, 1948, until his death on December 12, 1968. Later she was united in marriage to Billy Vernon Huggins on April 15, 1971. Mr. Huggins preceded her in death on August 7, 2011. Louise worked a variety of jobs, but most of all she was an amazing homemaker. She was a great cook and had many restaurants in the area ask her to make dressing for them. Louise loved working in her garden and flower beds, working puzzles, and sitting on the swing reading her books. Some of her favorite authors were Danielle Steele and Nora Roberts. Louise loved bluegrass music, her family, and her two cats, Punkin and Bella. She was Church of Christ in faith Mrs. Huggins departed this life on April 27, 2022 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 88 Years, 3 Months, 25 Days. She is survived by her children: Dorothy Cloud and husband Gary, R. C. Huggins Jr. and wife Marcella, Tim Huggins and wife Vivian, Brian Huggins, and Mary Kaye Reed and husband James; four stepchidren: Jeff, Trish, Wanda and Reginia; grand, great, great great, and great great great grandchildren; a sister, Brenda Cauley and husband Tom; a brother, Kenneth Leatherwood and wife Sadie; as well as many friends and extended family. In addition to her two husbands and parents, Mrs. Huggins was preceded in death by a son and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Ann Huggins; a stepson, Billy Jo Anthony; and a sister Edna Wren.
