Jacks Creek, TN: Mammie Louise Climer Swafford, age 53, passed away July 6, 2022 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
She was born January 8, 1969 in Jackson and grew up in Chester County, the daughter of the late Bobby Glyn Climer and Mamie Lou Jones Climer Dennison. She attended Chester County Schools. She worked as a carpet installer and at Chickasaw State Park. She loved painting, and had worked as a self-employed painter for fourteen years.
She was a member of the Faith Fellowship Church.
Louise was very devoted to taking care of her down syndrome sister Betty.
She is survived by her fiancé, Steve Craig DeForest; two grandchildren, Zoe Grace DeForest and Austin DeForest; a sister, Betty Jo Climer of Jacks Creek and a brother, Anthony Climer (Allison) of Counce, TN.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, James Clifford Climer and Bobby Glyn Climer, Jr.
Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, July 10th at Shackelford Funeral Directors – East Main Chapel.
The family will receive friends 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Sunday.
