Lucy Faye Alexander McMahan Munn

Mrs. Munn, age 79, of Middleton, died Thursday morning, March 26, 2020, at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, MS.

The daughter of the late Luther Griffin Alexander, Sr. and Lucy Iona Young, she was born in Bolivar and was a life-long resident of Hardeman County. She retired from DeVilbiss Corporation and was a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church near Toone. Her hobbies included gardening, yard work, singing and spending time with her family.

On Monday, January 5, 1959, she married John William McMahan. They were together 33 years until his death on Thursday, August 6, 1992. She was also preceded in death by her second husband, Billy Hugh Munn, whom she married on Friday, July 11, 1997. Mr. Munn passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2008.

She is survived by her long-time companion and caregiver, Jim Walden of Middleton; a daughter, Kathy Ricketts (Joe) of Middleton; two sons, Jeff McMahan (Kathy) and Tony McMahan, both of Middleton, also; two sisters, Nancy Cobb (Tom) and Mae Allen, both of Bolivar; three grandchildren, Kelly Robinson (Wesley) of Middleton and Nikki McMahan of Middleton and Jonathon Harris of Memphis; and two great-grandchildren, Preston and Ashton Robinson of Middleton.

Her brother, Luther "Luke" Griffin Alexander, Jr., passed away on Friday, August 8, 2008.
