LULA MOSIER
HENDERSON, TN; Lula Bell Baggett Mosier, age 79, passed away at her home on Thursday, July 25th.
She was born in McNairy County on August 25, 1939, the daughter of the late William “Willie” Franklin and Hester Rich Baggett. She grew up in McNairy Station and attended school in McNairy and Bethel Springs. She married Mervill Junior Mosier in 1964 and they made their home in Silerton. She co-owned Faye’s Discount Shoes in Montezuma for about eight years, but she was primarily a loving homemaker for her family. She liked gardening and cooking, and loved keeping her grandbabies.
She is survived by her husband, Junior Mosier; three daughters, Glenda Gail Barber of Corinth, MS, Kimberly Lynn Hopper (Curtis) of Henderson, and Janet Leigh Heath of Henderson; five grandchildren, Holly Hill, Nick Johnson, Dusty Helvering, Haley Carroll, and Shane Barber; and five great-grandchildren, Olivia Barber, Alexa Barber, Katie Barber, Alayna Soria and Jaylee Carroll.
In addition to her parents, Lula is preceded in death by a son, James Danny Baggett; three brothers, Arthur Baggett, Donald Baggett, and Sam Baggett; and five sisters, Faye Hearn, Cassie Fortune, Tilda Simms, Mary Lou Garner and Edna Melton.
Funeral services will be 2:00 Sunday, July 28 at Shackelford Funeral Directors with Bro. Anthony Rowland officiating. Burial will follow in the Cave Springs Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Saturday.
