Macon Brasher
Was born in Bath Springs, Tennessee on January 3, 1927 the son of the late Riley Arthur and Mary Thomas Brasher.
On August 27, 1960 he was united in marriage to Bernice Louise Joyner, who preceded her husband in death on March 12, 2014.
Macon was raised living and working on a farm. Later he worked wiring new and used houses. He was proud to have gotten his State of Tennessee Electrical Contractor License. Macon served his country proudly in the United States Army. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in St. Louis, Missouri. In his spare time Macon enjoyed watching westerns, listening to music, painting black and white pictures into color, repairing televisions, mechanic work and making dentures.
Macon departed this life on Thursday, April 29, 2021 in Lexington, Tennessee at the age of 94 years, 3 months and 26 days.
He is survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one son, Lash Brasher, sisters, Ruple Jarrett, Mae Brasher, Melzene Brasher, and Roberta Brasher, and brothers, Woodrow, Haywood, Thomas C., and Nathan Brasher.
