Madeline Phillips Littlefield, Stantonville, departed this life on August 16, 2020. Mrs. Littlefield was born to Walton and Susie Phillips in Hardin County, TN, on November 23, 1929. She married Bobby R. Littlefield on September 24, 1949. He preceded her in death on May 6, 2010.
Mrs. Littlefield was a retired Administrative Secretary for McNairy County Schools and Jamaica, IL School District. She was an active member of 70 years of Broadlands, IL and Adamsville Chapters of the Order of the Eastern Star. Over the years, she was appointed to many positions for the Grand Chapter of Tennessee including Grand Warder in 2014, Grand Representative to Illinois, Grand Instructor and numerous committees. She was an active member of Stantonville United Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Littlefield was preceded in death by her son Richard Allen Littlefield and brother James Phillips.
She is survived by 4 children, Larry (Kathy) Littlefield of Gibson City, IL, Dianne (Jeff) Kincaid of Newman, IL, Steve (Rhonda) Littlefield of St. Joseph, IL and Marcia (James) Mullikin of Jackson, TN. She was Grandmother to 11 grandchildren, Jennifer (Duane) Coslet, Amy Kincaid (Jim Anderson), Greg Kincaid (Becky), Grant Kincaid (Sarah), Rebecca Littlefield (Chris Knecht), Stephanie (Trey) Coffey, David Littlefield, Ashley (Ben) Wolfe, Cory (Alexandria) Mullikin, Claire Mullikin and Natalie Littlefield, as well as 6 great grandchildren, Anna, Lia, and Gwen Kincaid, Riley and Graydon Kincaid, Ethan Coslet and Liam Mullikin. She is also survived by her sister Olgia Hubbard and brother Charles Phillips.
Serving as pall bearers will be her grandsons, Greg Kincaid, Grant Kincaid, David Littlefield, Trey Coffey and nephews David Blanton and Paul Blanton. Honorary pall bearers are Dr. Ryan Bartz, Roger Stokely, Benny Malone and Ray Jackson.
The family will be receiving visitors on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 from 5 -7 pm and on Wednesday from 10 am until services at 11 am all held at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Adamsville, TN. There will be an Eastern Star funeral service prior to the traditional service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Adamsville Chapter of OES, LeBonheur Childrens Hospital or to the charity of choice.
