Marcella Kay McAlpin

Marcella Kay McAlpin, age 67, of Bolivar, departed this life Saturday morning, November 27, 2021, at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, TN.
She was born in Hardeman County on Friday, February 12, 1954, to the late Keelon and Ella Mae South Hammons and lived all of her life here. A member of New Bethany Church of Christ, she worked in assembly at Harman Automotive for over 25 years. In her leisure time, she enjoyed television, visiting by telephone and reading.
She is survived by her husband, Harry Lyn McAlpin, whom she married on May 26, 1995; her daughter, Melissa Kerr (Christopher) of Silerton; two sisters, Judy Burnett (Michael) and Sherry Belew, both of Bolivar; two brothers, Dennis Corder of Finger, TN and Tommy Hammons of Bolivar; and two grandchildren, Kyle and Hannah Earnest.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by a sister, Venessa Gail Hammons; and her mother-in-law, Annie Mae McAlpin.
