Mardell McClain Comer

Mardell McClain Comer of Guys, TN departed this life on August 21, 2019 in her home at the age of 76 Years, 1 Month, 10 Days. She was born on July 11, 1943 in McNairy County, TN the daughter of the late Atlas and Adell Turner McClain.

She was united in marriage to George Edward Comer on March 3, 1962. Mr. Comer preceded her in death on February 11, 2015. Mrs. Comer was a member of Guys Christian Church. She had worked in Housekeeping at Magnolia Hospital in Corinth, MS and did babysitting in her home. She was devoted to her family and loved them all very much.

She is survived by two sons, Jerry Comer and wife Deanna, Gary (Popeye) Comer; two daughters, Sherry Vincent and husband James, Cheryl Comer; nine grandchildren, Samantha Comer and husband Brandon, Stefanie Lott and husband Nic, Brooklyn Vincent, Cody Comer, Anthony Comer and wife Stacy, Tyler Wilmeth, Braxton Comer, Spencer Comer, Kyle Comer; five great grandchildren, Ellory Bennett, Ansley Bennett, Nora Comer, Jacey Lott, Hunter Comer; three sisters, Nancy Null, Joyce Ann Butler, Mae Jourdan; a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Comer was preceded in death by six brothers, Tony McClain, Burnice McClain, Junior McClain, Archie McClain, Benny McClain, Jimmy McClain.
