Margaret Allen-Schilf, 84, of Bolivar, departed this life Wed., May 19, 2021. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
She was born Monday, January 18, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois, daughter of the late Orville Bartlette Griffin and Louise Wilhelmina LeLois Griffin and lived in Indiana and Illinois prior to moving to Bolivar about a year ago. She was a retired school teacher, teaching at several schools in Illinois, the last one being in Park Forest, IL. She was an avid reader and a member of the EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association), and enjoyed building experimental aircraft and flying with her husband.
Survivors include 4 daughters, Carolyn Kirby (James "Sam") of Bolivar, Kimbre Chesney of Ocala, FL, Margaret Clark of Park Forest, IL and Katherine LeLois of Washington state; and a son, Kevin Clark of Chebanse, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, William Ernest Clark and Richard Frances Schilf and a brother.
